Melanie Seier Larsen

Biography

Melanie Seier Larsen is a Managing director and Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a leading global strategy consulting firm with more than 25,000 employees in 90 offices in 50 countries. Melanie leads BCG in the SEE region and has over 18 years of experience in management consulting. Her primary focus are Consumer goods, Retail, and People and Organization topics. Outside BCG, Melanie is a member of the Management Board of the Slovenian Managers’ Association and was President of the Female Managers' Section from 2014 to 2020. She also served as the President of the Slovenian IEDC Alumni Club from 2013 to 2020. Melanie is particularly passionate about the role of women in society and an advocate of gender equality. She participates in multiple mentorship programmes and is actively involved in discussions about the position of women in business. She was a recipient of the prestigious Artemida prize in 2019, top Slovenian award for women in business. She studied Economics and holds an MBA from the IEDC Bled Business School.
